Some History
Gary has farmed all his life except for years away at university. He was born and raised on a farm in Southern Alberta. His grandfather settled the land in 1910, his father after him and now Gary.
Mr. Strain, Gary’s father started as a seed grower in 1957. Gary followed in 1977 and remained a seed grower until 2012. Gary has continued farming as a commercial grower up to the present. More
Equipment for your Operation
We source and provide farming equipment to service both small farms (500-1500 acres) and large farms (2000-80000 acres) for both cattle and grains.
Our market are farms that need equipment for feed handling and storage, animal health, grain handling for cattle (beef and dairy), hogs, and poultry.
Agra Consulting
Our consultants are well-educated and have 50 years of experience in farming in Alberta.
We work with many farmers in our area, taking a hands-on approach to establish plans, equipment, and techniques that streamline operations and improve profitability.
Commercial Farming
Currently, we farm 2720 acres located near Foremost Alberta. The main crops That we grow are different varieties of wheat, barley, peas, lentils, and flax.
We Also do custom cleaning of wheat, barley, peas, lentils, and flax for our customers who need that service.
We also have cattle on our land that help maintain the land by grazing the areas that are not cropped.
